Role:
In this role, Jo is the face of Expert Care Services, meeting clients and families.

• She values building lasting connections with clients and learning about their needs to be able to support them in reaching their NDIS goals and to be able to understand how their plan works to support their needs.
• Assists with care plans to develop caring approaches.
• She likes to be available after hours for our clients.
• She likes answering calls and attending meetings, liaising with doctors and health professionals.
• She is good at explaining service agreements gathering information required for the intake process, to ensure a safe service can be provided.
• She also loves monitoring and coordinating staff according to clients’ needs.
• She loves working with such a diverse range of people and building relationships within the community, helping people have more choices and control over their lives.
• Jo finds it very rewarding when clients and their families can trust the service she provides.

Jo has approximately 10 years’ experience in supporting clients in the Aged Care, Disability Mental health care sector working with children through to adults.
She has also worked as a Local Area Coordinator (LAC) program of uniting in partnership with the NDIS.
She has worked as a Senior support coordinator, assisting families to link up with the correct support that will enable them to meet their NDIS Goals.
She also has been a Complex Care support worker working as an AIN, supporting clients with highly Complex Care needs for 10 years. Working with vulnerable Clients is her passion. Seeing the difference we can help make in these people’s and families lives is everything to her.
She also has over 20 years of customer service experience.
She also has experience as mental health recovery coach.
