Sam brings along around 25 years of experience in the health industry. He has worked as a Drug & Alcohol counsellor for 11 years where he was committed to support those struggling with drug & alcohol addiction while creating effective treatment plans in consultations with families & stakeholders of the patients. He has also gained experience on ground level as an Addiction rehab consultant before he worked as a Local Area Coordinator with Uniting in partnership with NDIS for almost 4 years. As a LAC his major task was building NDIS plans for the participants and ensure that the participants utilised their plan to their optimal benefit.

During his 11 year long tenure as Drug & Alcohol Counsellor, Sam has

  • Provided substance abuse treatment programs for 700+ clients utilizing community rehab centre.
  • Helped clients to develop positive coping skills to avoid relapses and further damage to their lives.
  • Educated clients on how to achieve personal goals by providing positive encouragement and feedback during their treatment.
  • Gave well-attended weekly lectures on healthy lifestyle choices and techniques to overcome negative emotional issues, which 82% of clients reported being very or extremely helpful in their recovery.

While working as a Local Area Coordinator, Sam realised the need of compassionate & empathetic service providers in the market for NDIS participants while dealing with various NDIS providers in capacity of LAC. Due to his passion to do something for the persons with disability, he started this company with like minded professionals in health industry and is actively contributing as a Business Development Manager since July 2022.
